Teaching Associate Syllabus 2026

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board's exam for Teaching Associate (contract) posts in Rajasthan College Education Society colleges has two objective papers. Paper I, General Studies of Rajasthan, is common to every subject; Paper II is on the subject of the post. Below is the complete Paper I syllabus exactly as the Board published it in its notice (Advt 06/2026), in the notice's order.

Paper I (General Studies of Rajasthan): 60 questions, 75 marks, 1 hour. Paper II (subject concerned with the post): 120 questions, 300 marks, 2 hours. There is negative marking: 1/3 is deducted for each wrong answer. To be recommended, a candidate needs at least 36% marks in each paper and 40% in the aggregate of the written exam; for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes these percentages are relaxed by 5%.

- Ancient civilizations of Rajasthan with special reference to Mesolithic (Late Stone Age) sites in Rajasthan, i.e. Nimbahera, Bagor and Mandia

Frequently asked questions
When is the RSSB Teaching Associate exam 2026?
RSSB has tentatively scheduled Paper I for 17 November 2026 and Paper II, subject by subject, between 7 and 21 December 2026. Check rssb.rajasthan.gov.in for the admit card and any later change.
