How marks are counted
- 60 questions, 75 marks: each question is worth 75 ÷ 60 = 1.25 marks.
- A wrong answer costs one third of a question's marks (−0.42).
- A question left unanswered scores 0: nothing added, nothing cut.
- If RSSB deletes questions, they count for no one and their marks are spread over the rest.
Frequently asked questions
When will RSSB release the Teaching Associate Paper I 2026 answer key?
RSSB usually releases its model answer key within a few days of the exam, on its website. We will add the date here when RSSB announces it. On exam evening, TopKaro's teachers publish an unofficial key on this page so you can check your score sooner.
How do I raise an objection?
After the model key is out, RSSB takes objections online on its website for a few days. You log in, pick the question, give your reason with a source, and pay a fee per question as set in RSSB's notice. The final key comes after experts review the objections.
How is the score calculated?
Each of the 60 questions is worth 75 ÷ 60 = 1.25 marks. A wrong answer costs one third of that (−0.42); a question left unanswered scores 0. If questions are deleted, the 75 marks are spread over the questions that remain. The calculator above does all of this for you.
Is the TopKaro key official?
No. Only RSSB's model and final keys are official. TopKaro's key is prepared by our teachers on exam evening so you can estimate your score early; answers we are not sure of are marked “?”, and we update the key when RSSB publishes its own.
