CET Senior Secondary Level Syllabus 2026

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board's Common Eligibility Test (Senior Secondary Level) is a single objective paper. Below is the complete syllabus exactly as the Board published it in its notice (Advt 08/2026), unit by unit and in the notice's order.
CET Senior Secondary Level exam pattern

All questions are multiple choice and carry equal marks; one third (1/3) of a question's marks is deducted for each wrong answer. Every question has five options, A to E. If you do not attempt a question, you must darken E. If none of the five circles is darkened, one third of the question's marks is deducted, and a candidate who leaves more than 10% of the questions with none of the five circles darkened is disqualified. 10 extra minutes beyond the scheduled time are given to darken one circle for every question.

Frequently asked questions
When is the RSSB CET Senior Secondary Level exam 2026?
RSSB has tentatively scheduled it for 1 to 3 December 2026, in several shifts. Check rssb.rajasthan.gov.in for the admit card and any later change.
What is the exam pattern?
One objective paper of 120 multiple-choice questions for 240 marks, to be done in 2 hours 30 minutes. All questions carry equal marks, so each question is worth 2 marks.
Is there negative marking in CET Senior Secondary Level?
Yes. One third (1/3) of a question's marks is deducted for each wrong answer. A question left with none of the five circles darkened also loses one third of its marks.
What is option E in the CET paper?
Every question has five options, A, B, C, D and E. If you do not attempt a question, you must darken E. A candidate who leaves more than 10% of the questions with none of the five circles darkened is disqualified. 10 extra minutes are given after the scheduled time to make sure one circle is darkened for every question.
How many marks does each unit carry?
RSSB's notice does not give marks or a number of questions per unit; it lists only the units and their topics.
