At a glance

  1. Lado Protsahan Yojana (from 1 August 2024) pays Rs 1.50 lakh in seven instalments; Mukhya Mantri Rajshree Yojana (Rs 50,000 in six instalments for girls born on or after 1 June 2016) has been merged into it.
  2. Kanyadan pays Rs 31,000 for BPL girls of SC, ST and minority families and Rs 21,000 for other categories, with Rs 10,000 more for a 10th-pass and Rs 20,000 more for a graduate bride.
  3. The Kalibai Bheel name is on several schemes: Mahila Sambal Shiksha Setu (2019-20), Medhavi Chhatra Scooty, Udaan (sanitary napkins) and a research institute for women and child development.

Health, hygiene and nutrition

  • Kalibai Bheel Udaan Yojana (launched 19 December 2021 as Udaan; called Mahila Shakti Udaan in the Economic Review 2023-24): free sanitary napkins for women and girls aged 10 to 45, to promote menstrual health and hygiene management, bought by the Rajasthan Medical Services Corporation and Rajeevika; about 1.22 crore girls and women get them every month; Rs 91.50 crore in 2025-26, up to December.
  • Mukhyamantri Suposhan Nutri-Kit: kits of dates, ghee, roasted peanuts and chickpeas, jaggery and makhana through Anganwadi centres for the last five months of pregnancy; 2.35 lakh women; Rs 25 crore in 2025-26.
  • Scheme for Adolescent Girls (14 to 18 years): in five aspirational districts since 1 April 2022 (Baran, Karauli, Jaisalmer, Dholpur, Sirohi); 29,368 girls marked for benefit through Anganwadi centres.
  • Maternity benefits (Matru Vandana and Matratva Poshan) are on the child welfare page.

Safety, shelter and support

  • 181 Women Helpline: a 24x7 helpline; 4,098 cases referred in 2025-26, up to December.
  • One Stop Centres (Sakhi Kendras): 52 centres with medical, police, legal, counselling and temporary shelter under one roof; Rs 3 lakh a month for each centre; 7,366 cases registered, 7,020 resolved.
  • Mahila Suraksha Evam Salah Kendra: 266 sanctioned and 262 working, run by NGOs at police stations with Rs 5 lakh a year each; 23,920 cases registered, 22,942 resolved.
  • Shelter: Division Level Nari Niketan / State Mahila Sadan (161 women) and Shakti Sadan Yojana (106 women) for women in distress.
  • Women Development Programme: one Sathin in each Gram Panchayat, chosen by the Gram Sabha; honorarium raised from Rs 5,844 to Rs 6,428 a month from April 2025; 10,908 Sathins.
  • Tri-Stariya Mahila Samadhan Samiti: divisional (Divisional Commissioner), district (Collector) and sub-divisional (SDM) committees for women in the unorganised sector; the Zila Mahila Sahayta Samiti has been merged into it.
  • Mission Shakti: the Union umbrella scheme; Hub for Empowerment of Women at state and district level under its Samarthya sub-scheme, funded 60:40 by the Centre and the state.
