Eligibility: common questions
What are the REET passing marks?
60% (90 of 150) for General candidates and 55% for SC, ST, OBC, MBC and EWS; 50% for widows, divorced women and ex-servicemen, 40% for persons with disabilities, and 36% for ST candidates of TSP and scheduled areas and Sahariya candidates, as per the REET 2024 notice.
Is there negative marking in REET?
Not for a wrong answer. But the OMR sheet has a fifth bubble, E, for a question you leave: a question with no bubble filled at all loses 1/3 mark, and leaving more than 10% of the questions with no bubble disqualifies you.
When is the next REET?
Not announced yet. The last one, REET 2024, was held on 27 and 28 February 2025 (Level 1 on the morning of the 27th, Level 2 in two shifts), and its final key and result came out on 8 May 2025.
