Eligibility: common questions
What is the age limit for BSTC?
Not more than 28 years on the exam date, as per the 2026 guidelines. Widows and divorced women have no age limit, and SC, ST, OBC, MBC, EWS and women get the relaxation set by the Rajasthan government.
Is there negative marking in BSTC?
No. Each question carries 3 marks and nothing is cut for a wrong answer, as printed on the 2026 question booklets.
Is there a cut-off for BSTC?
No pass mark: in 2026 every candidate's result came out without a cut-off, as a percentage after section-wise scaling, on 10 June 2026. Admission then goes by that percentage, category and the institutes you choose in counselling.
