Do the tests follow the exam pattern?
Yes, on the exam pattern: CBT 1 100 questions in 1 hour 30 min and 1/3 negative marking.
When is RRB NTPC 2026 CBT 1?
For the Graduate posts (CEN 06/2026), RRB plans CBT 1 from the fourth week of December 2026 (tentative; notice of 12 October 2026). RRB has not yet given a date for the Under-Graduate posts (CEN 07/2026). Each candidate's city and date come on the RRB website before the exam.
Is the paper the same for Graduate and Under-Graduate posts?
The pattern and syllabus are the same: CBT 1 has 100 questions in 90 minutes (General Awareness 40, Mathematics 30, Reasoning 30) with 1/3 cut for a wrong answer, and CBT 2 has 120 (50, 35, 35). The questions are set to each level's standard, and the two levels are separate exams.
How many RRB NTPC 2026 posts are under RRB Ajmer (Rajasthan)?
304 Graduate posts and 124 Under-Graduate posts. You may apply to only one RRB; applying to more than one rejects all your applications.
Is there a typing test in RRB NTPC 2026?
No. RRB has dispensed with the typing skill test for the clerk and accounts posts in both 2026 notices; typing is checked after joining.
