- 18 to 40 on 1 January 2027
- Qualification
- LL.B or MSW (Master of Social Work) plus working knowledge of Hindi and Rajasthani culture; final-year students may apply

Age relaxation (upper limit)
- Rajasthan SC, ST, OBC, MBC and EWS men: +5 years; women of these categories: +10 years
- General (unreserved) women: +5 years
- Widows and divorced women: no upper age limit
- Ex-servicemen: +15 years, up to 50
- Persons with benchmark disabilities: +5 years more
- Only one relaxation applies; reserved categories are for Rajasthan domicile only.

Are these tests really free?
Yes, all of them, with full explanations. There is no paid plan.
Do the tests follow the exam pattern?
Yes, on the exam pattern: Paper I 150 questions in 3 hours, Paper II 150 questions in 3 hours, 1/3 negative marking, option E to leave a question and the same cut for a question left with no option at all.
How is the merit list made?
On the total of both papers, 600 marks; there is no interview. You need at least 40% in each paper. In 2022 no candidate reached 40% in Paper I, so no post was filled.
Who can apply for RPSC Protection Officer?
A law graduate (LL.B) or a Master of Social Work (MSW), aged 18 to 40 on 1 January 2027, with the usual Rajasthan relaxations.
What is the RPSC Protection Officer cut-off?
In 2018 the General cut-off was 436.68 out of 600. In 2022 nobody reached the 40% minimum in Paper I, and in 2024 the only qualified candidate (ST) scored 318.80.
