- Qualification
- 12th pass + a computer certificate RS-CIT, O-level, COPA/DPCS or similar; no CET score needed; Hindi and Rajasthani culture
- Age
- 18 to 43 on 1 January 2027 (40, plus 3 years because there was no recruitment in the last 3 years)
- Pay
- Level 5 ₹14,600 a month fixed for the first 2 years (probation)
- Fee
- ₹1,000 ₹500 for Rajasthan SC, ST, BC, MBC, EWS and PwBD candidates
Age relaxation (upper limit)
- Rajasthan SC, ST, BC, MBC and EWS men: +5 years; women of these categories: +10 years
- General (unreserved) women: +5 years
- Persons with benchmark disabilities: +5 years more
- Widows, divorced women and serving power-company staff: no upper age limit
How selection works
- STEP 1Online exam · PrelimsReasoning, maths (Class 10), GK and everyday science (Rajasthan first, with current affairs), Hindi, English. Screening only; no negative marking. About 10× the vacancies go through.
- STEP 2Online exam · MainsThe same five subjects, with negative marking. Counts for 40% of the final merit.
- STEP 3Typing testHindi and English typing on computer (speed and accuracy), for about 3× the vacancies. Hindi and English each get 10 minutes for speed (25 marks) and 10 for efficiency (25 marks). Counts for 60% of the final merit. Minimum 30% in each phase (20% for reserved categories).
